Important update for patients

We would like to inform patients that the owner of the building from which Cottenham Surgery operates has advised us of their intention to sell the premises.

While this process is still in its early stages, we are already working closely with NHS Central East Integrated Care Board (ICB), the local NHS organisation responsible for planning and funding healthcare services, to explore suitable options for future surgery premises.

The proposed sale of the building creates an opportunity to identify premises that can better support patients, staff and the delivery of high quality care in the future. Our priority is to ensure the continuity of services and ongoing access to primary care for patients in Cottenham and the surrounding community. There is no impact on patient services, appointments or care at this time, and patients do not need to register with another GP practice. Cottenham Surgery remains open as usual, and patients should continue to access services in the normal way.

We are holding a drop-in session for patients to join us for refreshments and to ask any questions they have. This will be the first of our community engagement sessions. The first drop-in session is being held at the Cottenham Surgery from 1 to 2pm, Thursday 13th August 2026.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
